This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data on the WoofsLogic website and in the WoofsLogic mobile application for Android and iOS.

The service is provided by Tormitar (WoofsLogic app), registered in the Netherlands.

3. Data we process

3.1 Website

• Usage data: We use Plausible Analytics to measure visits and traffic trends. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
• Contact: If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message.
• Social media links: Our site contains links to our official pages on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. When you follow these links, the privacy policy of the respective platform applies.

3.2 Mobile App

• Account data: Your email address and password (securely stored).
• Profile data: Information you provide about yourself and your dog(s).
• Photos (optional): Dog photos you upload for analysis.
• AI results: Summaries and recommendations created for your dog(s).
• Journal (optional): Notes and check-ins you choose to add.
• App usage data: Events and feature use that help us understand and improve the app.
• Technical and security data: Device details, app version, and logs needed for security.

4. Why we use your data (and legal bases)

• To provide the app (accounts, profiles, photo analysis, recommendations) — Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To improve the app and website (analytics, product development) — Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• To protect security and prevent abuse — Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• To reply when you contact us — Legitimate interests or Contract.
• To meet legal requirements — Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

5. Who helps us process data

• Plausible Analytics — website statistics without cookies or personal data.
• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for the app.
• OpenAI — analysis of uploaded photos and inputs to generate recommendations.
• Apple App Store and Google Play — handle in-app purchases. We never receive your payment card details.
• PostHog — app analytics (events, funnels, retention).

6. International transfers

If personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, along with technical and organisational measures.

7. How long we keep data

• App data (accounts, profiles, photos, AI results, journals): kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is erased or anonymised within 30 days.
• Logs (website and app): kept for 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
• Emails: kept as long as needed to handle your request and maintain records.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app.
You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

9. Children

WoofsLogic is not intended for children under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not use the app or provide personal data.

10. Changes

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will publish the revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
